South Asia Books, located in Columbia, Missouri, has been the premier distributor of homeopathy books from India since 1969.
Its Founder, Professor Jerry Barrier, was considered one of the foremost scholars on Sikhism in the world. He was a Professor of History at the University of Missouri for over 30 years, even achieving chair of that department for a period. He taught Nonviolence and Peace Studies, specializing in Gandhi. He was the author and editor of ten books and numerous articles on India and Sikhism. In 1994, he was awarded a special honor from the Indian government and the National Book Trust, celebrating over 25 years of service facilitating the exchange of books and ideas between the U.S. and India.
At present, South Asia Books is still the primary distributor of homeopathic books in North America and carries an inventory of thousands of titles, based on homeopathy. These cover virtually every subject related to homeopathy.
Another service we offer is tracking down those hard to find or old Homeopathy titles that may not be in the main stream of Indian publications. Please just contact us and provide us with a title, author, publisher, ISBN or any information you may have. We will then do a search and let you know within a day or two whatever information we find.
